Simplifying Pricing and Productising a Complex Service.

Removing choices, exceptions and complexity from the buying decision.

The problem

The business could solve a wide range of customer needs, but that flexibility had created too many packages, options, exceptions and explanations. Sales conversations spent too much time describing the offer. Customers struggled to understand what they actually needed, and delivery inherited unnecessary variation.

What I did

I worked backwards from the customer decision. I separated what genuinely needed to vary from what could be standardised, simplified the offer architecture, clarified what was included, and rebuilt the pricing logic around a smaller number of easy-to-understand choices. The service, website, sales story and delivery model were then aligned around the same proposition.

What changed

A flexible but difficult-to-buy service became a clearer, more repeatable commercial offer.
